TRAIN TRACK® Customizable Edition
Each edition of TRAIN TRACK® is also available in a customizable format. The program comes in an open source code file format which you may modify to meet your needs. You will have access to all of the database objects in design view, and all of the VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) program code. Your license allows you to make modifications to the application for use within your organization, or we can make them for you. Some restrictions apply.
Your license also includes a copy of the Software Design Specification document, which covers the technical details of the software design. It includes overall program logic, table relationship diagrams, detailed descriptions of functions and screens, report data source map, and query index.
License
TRAIN TRACK® is licensed per user. Your database license includes one read/write user. A read/write user is someone who accesses the program to edit records. You may also have an unlimited number of users who are just logging on to take exams, view their own training status or that of their subordinates, or who have read-only access. These users do not need a license. Additional read/write user licenses may be purchased at any time. There is no limit to the number of employees you may track with your database license.
Each database license allows for one database, or one set of data. You may also store backup, development and test copies. Additional locations which maintain separate sets of data, or additional databases within one location, require separate licenses.
Your license includes the annual support contract for the first year at no additional charge. This allows you to receive all product updates and technical support for one full year for free. Technical support is provided for the licensed product only (see Free Technical Support Policies). After the first year, you may purchase the annual support contract to continue to receive product updates and support.

Specifications
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- A standard PC running Windows® 2000/XP/Vista/7.
- Microsoft® Access™2003, 2007, or 2010. The free run-time version may be used for general users, but you will need the full version of Access™ to make modifications to the program.
- At least 10 MB disk space. Very large databases may require up to 50 MB.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLIENT/SERVER EDITION
- An ODBC connection from the client machine to the server.
- SQL Server® Express (or your existing SQL Server® 2005 or higher database).
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WEB EDITION
- Web server that supports .asp (for example, IIS 6 or higher).
- An ODBC connection to the server.
CAPACITY
- Up to 2 GB of data (over 2 million records).
- Up to 255 concurrent users.
Customization
Microsoft® Access™ was chosen because it can be easily modified, even by the end-user with no programming experience. Please note that the trial version is not in an open format and can't be modified. If you purchase the Customizable Edition license, you will need at least one copy of the full version of Microsoft® Access™ in order to make modifications. You will receive an .mdb file which allows access to the design view of all database objects, and to all of the VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) program code.
You may make modifications for use within your organization at one location, but you may not export portions of the program, re-purpose the application, or modify the program to be used for tracking unrelated data. You may not redistribute any portion of the product, or remove the identifying trademarks or logos, and Liberty Labs retains copyright ownership. See license agreement for complete details.
