TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

PLATFORM

TRAIN TRACK™ Standard version is a self-contained Microsoft® Access™ database file. You do not need to have Access™ to use the program; you can install the FREE run-time version. Access™ was chosen because it can be easily modified, even by the end-user with no programming experience. It can be installed on a local drive or a network drive for access by multiple users.

TRAIN TRACK™ Client/Server version uses a SQL Server database as the back-end to store all of your data on a central server. The client application, with the user interface, can be installed on multiple workstations.

• A standard PC running Windows® 2000/XP/Vista.
• Microsoft® Access™ 2000/XP/2003/2007 OR If you don't have Access™, you may use the FREE run-time version. The full version of Access™ is required to make modifications. The SQL database for the client/server version is included with the installation files.
• At least 10 MB disk space.

CAPACITY

• The standard version can hold up to 2 GB of data (over 2 million records). There is no limit with the client/server version.
• 255 concurrent users.
