TRAIN TRACK® Hosted Web

The new web-based user interface for TRAIN TRACK® allows you to access the program using a web browser. The web interface offers much faster performance, especially for remote users or with high volume. It also provides employees with the ability to take exams or enroll in scheduled classes online. The hosted web application resides on our secure servers and is accessed over the internet. The hosted version does not include the traditional client user interface and is accessed only through a web browser.

Security

Hosting Facility: The servers are physically hosted in a secure facility including key-card entry, video surveillance, fire-suppression, climate control, emergency power supply, and disaster recovery.

Backup: There are scheduled daily backups, and on-demand backups are available. Files may be restored from the on-demand backups, daily backups from the last 21 days, or weekly backups from the last 7 weeks.

Server: The web server is secured and may only be accessed by authorized personnel from inside the network with a user name and password.

Database Security: A dedicated database housing only your data is secured with a user name and password.

Website Security: Each web page includes user authentication and may only be accessed by the users you authorize. You may assign administrator, standard, limited, read-only, or exam-only rights.

SSL: A shared Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate is available on a subdomain. If you wish to purchase a separate certificate for use on your own (separate) domain, there will be additional cost.

We guarantee 99.9% uptime, and any downtime issues will be resolved within 4 hours. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance and scheduled during low use periods.

License

TRAIN TRACK® is licensed per user. Your database license includes one read/write user. A read/write user is someone who accesses the program to edit records. You may also have up to 199 users who are just logging on to take exams, view their own training status, or who have read-only access. These users do not need a license. Additional read/write user licenses may be purchased at any time. There is no limit to the number of employees you may track with your database license.

Your license includes the annual support contract at no additional charge. This allows you to receive all product updates and technical support for free. Technical support is provided for the licensed product only (see Free Technical Support Policies). We can also help you with tasks such as importing or updating data; please check with us for cost and details.

You may cancel your hosted service at any time. Just notify us 30 days in advance of the date you wish to discontinue the service. Any unused monthly fees will be refunded. If you would like to keep your data, we can export it to a file for you (please contact us for details and rates).
