OVERVIEW

Liberty Labs is a software development company specializing in Microsoft® Access™ and Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA) Programming. We provide database-driven applications for the desktop, the network, or the internet. We incorporate a variety of technologies to provide you with a powerful, flexible, and comprehensive solution.

Liberty Labs has a broad range of experience providing services for multiple industries, including biotechnology, electronics, manufacturing, service, and financial services.

HISTORY

Liberty Labs was founded by Owner Sharon Moxon in 1997.

Our flagship product, TRAIN TRACK™, was first released in 1999. The program continues to improve based on customer feedback, with new releases scheduled each year.

MISSION

Our mission is to help your business succeed by creating software that works the way you do.

GOALS

Specific Annual Goals:

Liberty Labs provides custom software applications to customers around the world. Our flagship product, TRAIN TRACK™, is an employee training tracking database available as a standalone or client/server application. This program is fully customizable, and we frequently make custom modifications to the software for individual clients. In 2010, we expect to release a web-based version of TRAIN TRACK™. This new version will be installed on a web server and accessed through a web browser, allowing access by a wider group of employees, and offering improved performance.

We plan to expand our product line to include additional applications that would compliment TRAIN TRACK™. We will determine what these new products should be by working with our existing customers to find out what their common needs are and how we can best help them track different types of data required for their business or industry. Many of our customers are regulated by multiple agencies, including the FDA, which require a great deal of recordkeeping and documentation. Our goal is to make this as easy for them as possible. We would like to get input from as many customers as we can before deciding which products to begin developing in 2010.

We will also be expanding our customization services. We would like to increase the number of customers we are able to serve, so that we can give a greater number of them a software package that is tailored to their specific needs, and provide them with a solution that fits their business exactly.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Liberty Labs is proud to donate services to selected non-profit community service agencies each year. If your agency meets the criteria listed below, you may qualify for a full or partial donation of software or software development services. Contact us for more information.

Selection Criteria:

Non-profit status, as classified by the IRS
A significant portion of funding through donations
Adherence to a non-discrimination policy
A specific need which Liberty Labs can fulfill
Located in the San Diego area, or able to pay for any necessary travel expenses, or able to work with developers remotely.

Applicants will be asked to submit general information about their agency and verification of non-profit status. If approved, the applicant will need to sign an agreement outlining the specific services to be provided.

Unfortunately, we may not be able to assist all applicants. In this event, selection of recipients will be determined by Liberty Labs, based on where we believe our donation can be most beneficial. All applicant information is kept strictly confidential.
